I got some helpful feed back during our peer critique time. One being that the points on the fins could be gotten rid of because the points were messy and the paper was not able to be folded to such a fine point. Another was the possibility of reinforcing the hook and the hole so they wouldn't rip and possibly adding a few more ribs to make the fish longer. I agree with all those ideas and went back to Rhino 6 to make the adjustments for my model.
I simply chopped off the points off of the ribs and made a flat end. Then I made more copies of the ribs to extend the length of the fish. My plan for the reinforcement of the hook and hole was to cut out clear plastic sheets to glue on the hooks and the out rim of the slot. Unfortunately the plastic did not stick well to the paper and also made the hook very difficult to insert into the back slots so I decided to just be careful when inserting the hook and not reinforce them. I also made some small changes in the tail fin to adjust some folds that didn't work very well in the prototype.
After all the adjustments were made I unfolded it, made tabs, and assigned where the cut and score lines were for the laser cutter.

I didn't save a copy of the final design before unfolding it so for my renders I had to use a design of the rib that is not exactly the same as the paper craft one.
